This has been one of the most exciting and addictive pastimes I have ever undertaken with always new things to learn and different directions to take. The work I have displayed is an example of some of the subjects I most enjoy doing with a special interest in water scenes as well as birds and children.
Recently, I have taken a new interest in pastels (none of which I have displayed here) and hope to further this area of my work as the vibrancy of the colours in pastels adds a new dimension.
All the paintings displayed are fully framed and I do enjoy individual commissions. I have completed many over the years and sometimes add personal touches such as children playing in the sand.
I am part of the committee of the Newcastle Art Society and regularly exhibit my work with their exhibitions and also the exhibitions of the Newcastle Society of Artists.
