My interest first started in Art when I was in my late teens. I did a lot sketching. I have tried various mediums, such as, Folk Art and Watercolour.

I was introduced to a different kind of medium called “Encaustic Art”(bees wax painting) using a small iron, stylus, coloured bees wax and card.

I gained my “Teachers Accreditation Certificate in 2005.

From 2003-2017 I have gained prizes with Encaustic Art paintings in Newcastle, Morisset and Blacktown Shows.

I have been a guest speaker at various organizations as well as demonstrating.

As my journey continues in the Art World, I look forward to being able to share my expertise with others, which is challenging and rewarding.
