Janelle Cookson is a local Artist from Lake Macquarie, New South Wales. Janelle first started painting when she was 15 and after a long break got back to Art almost 20 years ago. Taking what she has learned in classes, and the inspiration from her Australian & Overseas travels, Janelle began leading her own path and broadening her style and technique. She has gained a wide and varied experience and lots of self learning, along the way.
Janelle loves using mainly Acrylics along with Inks, Mixed Media & Pencil. She enjoys painting anything to do with Nature and Wildlife, with a few other styles along the way.
Janelle has sold many paintings at various exhibitions, such as Newcastle Art Society, John Hunter Hospital, Hunter Arts Network Art Bazaars, different markets and many more.
