Lola Rose Award 2015 – Stockland Jesmond

The exhibition finished today after a very successful two weeks. Lots of interest and positive feedback from the public and a total of 26 paintings sold. The judging of the Lola Rose Award this year was done by well- renowned local artist Bill Freeman, and we thank him for his continuing support. The winner was Ernie Kelly for his oil painting ‘Misty Morning’, with second place going to Wendy Lesniak for ‘Kooka Mates’. The raffle painting by Robyn Spruce was extremely popular, with lots of tickets being sold – right up to the last minute.
