02/01/2010 – Well here we are at the beginning of a brand new year after a very confusing 2020. If nothing else the past year has taught us all to be flexible and creative with our time, to make the most of opportunities when they arise and to appreciate the wonderful world in which we live. With all that in mind Newcastle and Lake Macquarie Art Society members are rearing to go with numerous exhibitions planned in the coming months. First up will be our very popular Joe Punshon Silver Palette Award at Charlestown Square. This exhibition is held annually in the Centre Court outside Myer and this year it is sure to be a very welcome attraction to all our regular art lovers. The exhibition will begin Monday 25th January and run for 2 weeks, finishing Sunday 7th February….. Stay tuned for more details!
