22/04/2017 – Busy times are ahead for our artists with opportunities to exhibit coming thick and fast. Next weekend the Dobell Art Festival will be held at Wangi and many of our society members are sure to be exhibiting at this popular event. The following Monday sees the setup of our exhibition at the wonderful Ocean Blue Gallery in Belmont. With this exhibition running for the entire month of May, there will be plenty of opportunity to see a great selection of work – without the size restrictions which often apply at some of our exhibitions. Added to this, the Newcastle Art Society are having a second exhibition in May, this time at Charlestown Square, for one week only (details coming!) – and of course we still have lots of art available at Edgeworth Town Square. ‘Tulip’ (pictured) by Susan Eve is another taste of what will be on show at Ocean Blue Gallery in May.
