29/10/2017 – Our last exhibition for the year, the Des Vout Memorial Award, starts tomorrow at Belmont Citi Centre. Always a popular exhibition with many loyal followers, it’s a great way to end to end what has been a tremendous year for the society – and a fantastic opportunity for anyone thinking of buying art this Christmas. We have a gorgeous watercolour, ‘Valentine Shore’ (pictured) by Wendy Lesniak to be raffled – with tickets still only $1 each, and our judge this year will be internationally renowned local artist, Rod Bathgate. With so many of our  wonderful artists involved – including long-standing members and those exhibiting with us for the first time – there is sure to be something for everyone!
