Carol McCrohon Wins Lola Rose Award

23/06/2021 – The weather is so far smiling on our exhibition at Rathmines, with lovely sunny days and beautiful lake scenes. Today we had a  group of pastellists out enjoying the winter sunshine and having a chat with local art lovers. Tomorrow the Rathmines Theatre will come alive with classes, demonstrations and more paintings on display right through until Sunday – with the exhibition still on in the Boiler Room just behind. This is a great location and is sure to have something to interest everyone. You can check our brochure in earlier post for the full itinerary.

Judging of the Lola Rose Rose Award has taken place with Carol McCrohon taking out 1st place for her wonderful watercolour  ‘Toronto Lake Macquarie’. It just so happens our raffle painting this exhibition is also one of Carol’s watercolours – so be sure to buy a ticket or two when you come to see us.
