23/11/16 – What a way to end the year –  with a wonderful demonstration by Carole Elliot, sharing her tips and technique with Interactive acrylics. Working on a seascape with precision and patience, this is going to be another beautiful painting when finished.  Our new President Jenny Elks presented all the winners from the Belmont Citi Centre exhibition with certificates and prizes, very kindly donated by the Centre Management. Further opportunities to exhibit our work have arisen, with Belmont Citi Centre offering us continued use of a front window for display – and Centre Management at Edgeworth Town Centre doing the same! Today a few works went into the shop beside Subway in Edgeworth, with more to come next week. With exhibitions still on at John Hunter Hospital and Ocean Blue Gallery, and Hunter Region Botanic Gardens starting next week, there are so many chances to find art this Christmas.
