21/06/2017 – We were extremely fortunate to have Kay MacFarlane Smith as our guest at the recent general meeting. Kay is a well renowned local artist, and she demonstrated her wonderful technique with watercolour – with a beautiful country scene taking place before our eyes. Her painting is delicate yet still dynamic, and her answers to our many questions were all extremely informative. As Kay was guest judge at our Charlestown Square exhibition, she took the opportunity of our meeting to comment on the various works of art she had chosen – and again, it was interesting to hear her critique on our work.
