Steve Evely from the Adamstown Newsagency was our guest demonstrator at the May meeting and what a wonderful display it was! Steve, along with Windsor & Newton rep Tony, gave us an interesting, hands-on look at a variety of new products available from his shop – and their generosity with freebies, samples and knowledge is extremely appreciated. The raffle from our Marketown exhibition was also drawn, with D. Stoneman (ticket# 10241) being the lucky winner of Robert Loughran’s pastel. Plans were finalised for our next exhibition at Stockland Jesmond, which will start in just over a week (time’s flying)! May also saw a large group of our members enjoying the 2015 Archibald Exhibition at Lake Macquarie Art Gallery followed by a delicious lunch at Awaba House…… a great day had by all.
