19/06/2018 – We were lucky to be treated to a wonderful demonstration at our June monthly meeting by  internationally renowned artist Rod Bathgate. Sharing his tips and techniques in soft pastel painting, Rod whipped up a fantastic local scene in his characteristic style, while holding us all spellbound. Always generous with his time, encouragement and vast knowledge, it was a pleasure to hear Rod talk of materials and his own experiences working with pastels. We are always extremely grateful to the various artists and experts who share their knowledge with us each month, keeping us all inspired to continue as artists.
