10/05/2021 – Our exhibition at Hunter Wetlands, Shortland, has now been open for one week. With a selection of 69 predominately wetland themed artworks, the exhibition has been met with enthusiasm from visitors taking a fabulous walk through the wetlands and those there to enjoy the peaceful surrounds from the deck cafe. The exhibition will be open for whole month of May, so if you are looking for something different to do in this glorious autumn weather why not explore the Hunter Wetlands and view our latest display of paintings and drawings by local artists.

While on the subject of local art, the exhibition at John Hunter Hospital by society members, which was due to end last week, has been extended for another month and will also finish at the end of  May. So lots of opportunity to have a look and maybe treat yourself to a brand new piece of art!
