20/02/2019 – A new year has begun and our first meeting of the year was a great catch up after the long summer break. Awards were presented by president Kate Belton to all place winners from our recent Charlestown Square Exhiibition, with 1st Prize going to Val McDonald for her wonderful watercolour ‘I Thnk I Can’. The exhibition raffle was drawn and Rod Bathgate’s vibrant pastel painting was won by Sophie – ticket # 13589. Once again, our People’s Choice competition created a lot of interest with the the most popular painting being ‘Who’s A Pretty Boy?’ by Robyn Spruce. The entry drawn went to Margaret Jensen – thank you to everyone who took part.
