Entertaining Talk at March Meeting

21/03/2017 – Local artist Kim Van Koerveden kept everyone entertained at our March meeting, sharing her story as an art teacher and mural painter working with often disadvantaged children throughout the state. Kim’s enthusiasm, compassion and energy was inspirational and we all enjoyed her tales of small outback schools to larger coastal ones. After a delicious afternoon tea and a chance to catch up with fellow members, plans were refined for our upcoming exhibitions in May – one week in Charlestown Square (the first time we have exhibited in this centre) and a month at Ocean Blue Gallery. Entries for both exhibitions close soon!
