There was a lot happening at the June meeting, beginning with a wonderful demonstration by Gwendolin Lewis. Gwendolin was full of information on working with soft pastels, demonstrating the combination of acrylic paint and pastels on primed paper, while answering all our questions on products and technique. We are extremely fortunate to have so many wonderful artists giving their time and sharing their expertise – they are inspiring and get us all interested in trying new things!
