04/12/2016 – The exhibition has begun at the Hunter Region Botanic Gardens, and it looks great. Over a dozen art society members worked hard in the heat hanging the 80 paintings in the information/tea rooms. This is the first time we have exhibited here as a group and members have jumped at the opportunity to show their work at these popular gardens. All work is for sale (and very reasonably priced!). The Hunter Region Botanic Gardens are the perfect place for a picnic or relaxing day out, being just a short drive from Newcastle on the Pacific Highway, Heatherbrae – and with our exhibition there the next month it really is well worth a visit!
