19/06/2019 – At June’s meeting we were treated to another wonderful demonstration by Jill Campbell. Jill’s dramatic mixed media paintings are truly spectacular, and it was so interesting to watch her work and share her thoughts. So informative and generous with her own experiences and down to earth approach, we were all left feeling super keen and creative. The monthly meetings are always a great opportunity to catch up and hear of upcoming events, and this month was no exception as the hall buzzed with members keeping warm and feeling inspired over afternoon tea. Congratulations to our members, Bronwen Tyler and Dorothy Compton, each winning 1st prizes for Best Painting and Best Watercolour respectively, in Hunter Valley Grammar School’s ‘Inspired’ exhibition, and to Cheryl Barrett for 1st prize at this year’s Dobell exhibition. Well done ladies, all beautiful works!
