13/10/2018 – It’s wonderful to be supporting Newcastle Theatre Company’s latest play with an exhibition by our members in the foyer of the Lambton theatre. The world premiere of ‘The Third Act’, a fantastic new work by local playwrite Emma Wood,  has been extremely well received with the play running for another week, finishing October 20. The art on display includes paintings by Newcastle Art Society members as well as sketches inspired when the threatre company invited the art society to sit in during rehearsal. It’s a great initiative of the theatre encouraging collaboration of the visual and performing arts in the area. Newcastle Theatre Company is in DeVitre St Lambton with tickets available online or by calling the theatre weekdays from 3pm.
